Clever Canines Training
Dogs don't come with owners manuals and dogs don't behave just because we love them.
Often we misinterpret or fail to understand where personality quirks and undesirable behaviours come from and how they develop in the first place.
At Clever Canines Ltd. we teach you how to work with your dogs instincts, not against them, to help bring balance to your dog and education to you, without the use of treats!
By teaching dog owners how to recognize and identify the way canines communicate, the owners can effectively communicate the desired behavior in a way their dogs will understand. We don't cover up problems, we correct them.
We offer three different training options:
10-Week Group Class
The core of our business is the 10 week course offered twice a year; spring and fall. This course will give you everything you need to create a fulfilled, well-balanced and happy dog for the rest of its life. We give you the necessary tools, education and effective training techniques so you have the ability to offer your dog a fun, enjoyable, liberated and safe life. We teach urban safety and dog etiquette to pooches of all ages and breeds. Our class is about creating a strong bond and a great friendship between you and your dog. Our classes always sell out, so book early to ensure you get a spot.
Jump Start
Jump Start consists of a 1 hour seminar and 5 hours of hands-on work with your dog. This course takes place over 2 days. Jump Start runs six times per year and is perfect for individuals who are either waiting for the next 10-Week class to start, or who simply can not wait to get working with their dog.
Private In-Home Sessions
One-on-one sessions are reserved for dogs who have severe behaviour problems, challenges, temperament issues, trauma, phobias, aggression or other sensitivities where group class is not a good fit.
We go above and beyond any training you will find anywhere else.
